The new Scosche boomBOTTLE Speaker may be the speaker for bikers and everyday people who just want to have a wireless speaker for some good outdoor music listening without the hassle.
The new Scosche boomBOTTLE Speaker is a rugged and tough Bluetooth speaker designed to fit into a bike’s water bottle holder. It is even shaped like so. But inside it comes a pair of two 40mm drivers and a passive bass unit. The boomBOTTLE wireless speaker becomes an ideal outdoor speaker since it comes with an IRX4 rated splash proof covered in rubber and TPU to protect from impacts. It also comes with a built-in microphone to works as a speakerphone as well.
The Scosche boomBOTTLE Speaker also comes with a 3.5mm input for those who prefer using a wired music player. Its lithium ion battery can play up to 10 hours on a single charge and can maintain wireless connectivity with a paired Bluetooth device for a distance of up to 33 feet. The Scosche boomBOTTLE Speaker is expected to come out sometime this year. Pricing details are not yet available. But people have gotten a first look of this wireless speaker at the CES 2013 at Las Vegas.
